Movement – an unstoppable force created when one bold vision ignigtes the hearts of many. It transforms quiet conviction into collective action, turning obstacles into pathways and ideas into enduring legacy. True movements don’t chase change – they become it, leaving the world forever altered by those who dared to move first.
This represents the dynamic shift of the mountain bike trail scene in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa from 2016-2024. What began as a vision to attract new riders in Ashland, Nebraska evolved to the region. Technical trail features and optimized flow trails replaced what was historically cross-country (xc) dominant trails and with that came a new wave of riders, stoke, and the beginning of a market for natural surface trail experiences in this region. Platte River State Park grew from 5 miles of intermediate xc and part-time status (horse restrictions) to 22 miles of beginner, intermediate, expert, and pro trail experiences, open year-round. Ridership grew ~10x over this timeframe and the movement began 🙂
We’ll never cease to smile remembering throwing dirt before the sunrise, high-fiving upon completion of the next new thing, and sharing in that stoke with the community that followed. Those early mornings were the very best cups of coffee!

We are passionate about natural surface trails providing a gateway to our collective human roots – be it via bike tire or foot, we strongly believe an antidote to modern chaos exists in the still small voice and moments experienced in the nature around us. We seek to provide communities with this opportunity to connect with one another, to foster wellness for the mind, body, and soul, and to raise one another up through the experience of trails. The dismal rates of teen mental health and suicides beg for a solution, we firmly believe trails offer a solution and we’ll do all we can to be part of the solution.
Let’s build a movement, together!
